On Monday, February 17th, the Wellbeing Foundation Africa (WBFA) officially launched Year 2 of the Dettol Hygiene Quest program at St. Anthony Secondary School in Ilorin, marking another milestone in our commitment to fostering better hygiene practices among students in Kwara State.
The launch event was graced by distinguished guests, including representatives from the Kwara State Commissioner for Education and the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB). Their presence underscored the importance of the initiative and reaffirmed the government’s support for sustainable hygiene education in schools.

The Dettol Hygiene Quest program is designed to equip students with essential knowledge about personal and environmental hygiene, empowering them to take proactive steps toward healthier lifestyles. By instilling these habits at an early stage, WBFA aims to contribute to the broader goal of reducing preventable illnesses and promoting overall community well-being.
The school principal of St. Anthony Secondary School expressed heartfelt gratitude to WBFA for its unwavering dedication to inclusivity and the continuous improvement of students’ welfare. The enthusiasm of both students and staff highlights the program’s positive impact and sets a promising tone for the upcoming Lesson 2 session.

As WBFA embarks on this second year of the Dettol Hygiene Quest, we remain steadfast in our mission to drive awareness and action for hygiene education. Through strategic partnerships and continued engagement with educational stakeholders, we look forward to expanding our reach and reinforcing the importance of hygiene as a fundamental pillar of well-being.
Stay tuned for more updates as we progress on this impactful journey toward healthier futures for all!
