Honoring the Legacy of Alhaja Muslimat Ibrahim Jimba: Fidau Prayer and Condolences

On Tuesday, February 4th, the Alafia Kwara Team, on behalf of Her Excellency Toyin Saraki, attended the Fidau prayer held in honor of the late Alhaja Muslimat Ibrahim Jimba, the former Kwara PDP Women Leader. The solemn prayer session took place at the residence of the deceased in Ologun Jimba Compound, Ilorin, gathering family, friends, and well-wishers to pay their final respects.

The delegation, led by WBFA Programs Manager Mr. Akinsola Kehinde, included key members such as Lead Midwife Mrs. Komolafe Patricia, Mr. Yusuf Alabere, Nurse Aisha Ahmed, and Adegboye Peter. Also in attendance were Honourable Segilola Jimoh and Honourable Ebun Owolabi, alongside several women leaders from the group. Their presence symbolized a collective tribute to the remarkable contributions of Alhaja Jimba to her community and political party.

On behalf of Her Excellency, the team conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and paid their respects to the late Alhaja Jimba. In a generous display of goodwill, Her Excellency extended financial support to aid the prayer session and the family. A sum of N50,000 was presented to support the clerics’ prayers for the deceased, while N150,000 was offered to assist the children of the late leader, ensuring they continue to receive the necessary care and support.

The family of Alhaja Jimba expressed deep gratitude to Her Excellency for her unwavering support, motherly care, and generosity during their time of mourning. They also extended prayers for Her Excellency’s continued success and upliftment, as well as for the prosperity of the Wellbeing Foundation Africa, the Alafia Kwara Initiative, and the entire Saraki family.

The passing of Alhaja Muslimat Ibrahim Jimba is a great loss, but her legacy as a leader, mentor, and community advocate will continue to inspire generations. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
