In anticipation of today’s solar eclipse in some states of the federation, the wife of the Kwara State Governor, Mrs Toyin Saraki, has advised indigenes of the state not to panic at the sight of the phenomenon, since it is just a natural occurrence.
Preparatory to the event, Mrs Saraki has donated solar eclipse sunshields to children in Kwara State through The Kwara WellBeing Trust, Alaafia Kwara. The sunshields are meant to protect the children’s eyes from the harmful effects of looking directly at the sun and were on Tuesday at the state Ministry of Women Affairs.
